- Oversee and manage the financial operations of the company
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Perform general ledger accounting and reconciliations
- Manage payroll processing and ensure accurate payroll tax filings
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
Requirements:
- Been employed and around a dealership setting for minimum 3 years
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proven experience as an Automotive Controller or similar role
- Proficiency in QUICKBOOKS or similar accounting software
- Solid understanding of general ledger accounting principles
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Familiarity with payroll processing and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
