Responsibilities:
-As a Training & Education Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in creating, updating, and maintaining protocols, processes, and workflow documentation along with the development of our apprenticeship program within our organization.
Additionally, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing internal and external training programs to ensure compliance and efficiency across departments.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Utilize learning technologies, including LMS, to deliver and track training programs.
- Create and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, and job aids.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop appropriate solutions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and learning technologies.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and methodologies.
- Experience in developing educational content for classroom or online delivery.
- Proficiency in using learning technologies, such as LMS systems, and authoring tools like Adobe Captivate.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively educate and engage learners.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality training materials.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in training development and content development.
