Our goal is to help our customers reach their full potential and to excel as their global partner of choice Summary This position is responsible for analyzing and processing Service Engineering Service Part releases according to SPI process and procedures, within the documented productivity requirements.
The service part release documents will provide the necessary information and authorization for the Specification Analyst to perform activities such as part release, part cancellation, design stories, service usage revisions, etc.
It is this role’s responsibility to confirm the validity and intent of the service part release and may require interactions with GM Service Parts Engineer for further direction of intent.
Day to Day Responsibilities Process the following work segments related to SPI Specification data: ECAs (To be completed within 5 business days of receipt) PRCS (To be completed within 2 business days of receipt) PACN (To be completed within 5 business days of receipt) Productivity rating of 100% must be met Completed work must meet 97% Quality Rating Provide feedback on work segments, trends, process, and other improvements to Program Manager and/or GM Supervisor Collaborate, create/update and maintain related processing documentation Interface with GM Core team, GM Engineering, MSXI Graphics Team, and other departments that require Specification information, as needed Other duties as assigned from time to time by the Program Manager What you bring Uses communication skills and confidence in decision-making processes to drive performance and improvement Integrity - Honest and ethical Attention to Detail - detail oriented and thorough in completing work tasks Analytical Thinking - analyze information and using logic to address work-related issues and problems Dependability - reliable, responsible, and dependable while fulfilling customer obligations Persistence - persistence in the face of obstacles Professional Demeanor - Must be able to accept criticism while maintaining a calm demeanor in high stress, difficult situations Initiative - Must be willing to take initiative and develop creative solutions to resolve difficult challenges Achievement/Effort - establish and maintain personally challenging achievement goals and exerting effort toward mastering tasks Independence – Must be able to work autonomously and be able to accomplish tasks with little or no direction or assistance Cooperation - willingness to work together with others and display a good-natured, cooperative attitude Adaptability/Flexibility - be open to change and to considerable variety in the workplace Innovation - creative and alternative thinking to develop new ideas and solutions to work-related problems Concern for others - be sensitive to others' needs and feelings and being understanding and helpful on the job Minimum 1-3 years automotive technical background with working experience in automotive dealership operations or similar operation is preferred High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required Experience with vehicle service parts release processes preferred Analytical ability Proficient in MS Word, Excel Full professional proficiency in English is required Knowledge of arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and their applications are required Job requires analyzing information and using logic to address work-related issues and problems Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to Call, video, email, message and communicate with customer and co-workers Work at a PC for 8-10 hours daily Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Work Environment Office environment or Remote setting The noise level in the work environment is usually low Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions MSX International is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer committed to employing a diverse workforce.
