Applications Analyst III
Job Summary:
The Applications Analyst III provides problem resolution for a broad range of applications.
Displays an in-depth knowledge of the educational environment, mastery of the applications, and advanced technical skills.
Utilizes skillset to develop, plan, and organize Information Systems projects.
Provides guidance and mentoring to Information Systems team.
Essential Duties (May include, but not limited to):
Develops, coordinates, and implements plans to achieve information technology (IT) goals and objectives for district and local school district staff, using a variety of software products.
Develops, coordinates, and implements appropriate security procedures to secure all data following Cybersecurity recommendations.
Develops/maintains Information Systems technical documentation, application configuration, and end user documentation.
Develops software enhancement recommendation(s); Coordinates testing and implementation of modifications and/or enhancements.
Maintains state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems knowledge base.
Communicates regularly with district representatives to ensure application support objectives are met.
Develops solutions and assistance for Applications Analyst I and Applications Analyst II while providing additional support as needed.
Recommends equipment and software needs to the Information Systems Support Supervisor, as required for information systems operation.
Provides high-level technical assistance and training to district representatives in the use and configuration of information systems.
Develops, debugs, and generates reports.
Oversee s the development of custom reports.
Manages Information Systems projects as assigned.
Designs, analyzes, and implements software integration solutions.
Performs Information Systems assessments.
Works closely with TMS Systems Engineers to manage database performance.
Identifies scope, requirements, and develops custom software solutions as needed.
Creates and maintains system library / code repository.
Consistently models Win-Win leadership.
