Due to people who can't seem to comprehend english I'm forced to start this ad by asking that you please carefully read the whole ad and make sure you actually understand what I've written prior to contacting me so as not to waste my time.
I am not giving these away nor am I calling you.
I'm not breaking this package up or delivering.
Also asking me what I want for them when there is clearly a price listed in the ad will get you summarily blocked and ignored.
Now back to our regularly scheduled program.
I am looking to sell my Ford Tractors as a set along with a full set of pie weights and a snow plow set up.
The first one is a 1957 Ford 841.
The second one is a 1946 2N.
Both were running when I got them but have been sitting for a few years now so their batteries are both dead and may need replaced.
Also both tractors had 12 conversions done before I got them.
There is also a coolant heater on the 2N.
I acquired the 841 from Flint New Holland's Richmond location back in 2018.
Shortly after I got it I replaced the battery that was in it with a slightly too big battery that overhangs the battery holder.
I also changed the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points, condenser, and ignition coil with parts from Family Farm And Home.
The 2N I actually traded a cub low boy for that I trailered up to Clio however the 2N was more then my ramps were rated to hold so I drove it back to flint on the side of the roads.
After parking it in my back garage I wasn't able to get it started again.
I guy I traded the tractor with added fuel to it from the five gallon gas can I brought with me while I was dropping my truck and trailer off at my mother in laws house and I discovered later that they had broken the safety spout mechanism while adding gas to the tractor so there may be something in the fuel tank and or line preventing the engine from getting fuel.
There is also a weight plate rack on the front of the 2N which I have the weights for but took them off after putting it in the garage.
The plow set up appears to me to be home made and came off a 1953 golden Jubilee and I have the bolts that went through the rear mount to the transmission housing.
I neglected to get the front plates that bolted up to the engine though when we were unbolting the frame from the Jubilee.
I had both tractors stored indoors until I moved the 841 out of my garage to make space for a new project a couple of weeks ago.
I have a little under $6,000 invested in the whole package but I'm not interested in messing with them and getting new batteries and getting them running again so I don't expect to get my money back.
I am willing to listen to reasonable cash offers ONLY after you have actually came and looked at the items in this ad.
If you would like to come look at them please put your phone number in your inquiry so I can TEXT you pictures and/or answer questions.
Thanks, John I've already turned down $1,400.
I am fully aware that they aren't in perfect condition.
However if my asking price is that far off from what you think they're worth let's not waste each others time.
Also I'm rather busy and don't have much time or interest in calling you on the phone.
I specified text as that's my preferred and easiest way to communicate.
I'm not trying to be rude here but if texting doesn't work for you I'm sorry.
