Bresse chickens are excellent layers and start laying earlier than most breeds at 18 weeks.
They lay at least 250 light brown eggs per year and have a very calm disposition.
They are beautiful birds with white feathers, red combs, and blue legs.
They are heat and cold tolerant.
These are truly one of the best dual-purpose chicken breeds you will find.
