95 hourly Hours: 7:15 am - 2:45 pm Monday-Friday JOB REQUIREMENTS High School Graduate or equivalent with additional experience in food service.
Ability to maintain accurate records and an organized filing system.
Know the Federal and State Guidelines and adhere to policies.
Knowledge of inventory, ordering procedure, rotation.
Ability to cook according to recipe or instructions provided.
Ability to accurately fill out daily production records, temperature logs, daily count sheets.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
Maintain the physical stamina for the work assignment.
Must possess and maintain a high level of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
Must have and maintain a near perfect attendance record.
Neat and clean appearance.
Follow the current uniform policy.
Must possess exceptional communication skills, be flexible and a sense of humor.
Must be able to work productively and positively with the FSD, staff, students, and the community.
Demonstrates excellent leadership qualities, effective training skills and adapts well to change.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES Accurately count monies, complete daily reports and prepare for driver pick up.
Maintains strict confidentiality and a high level of integrity.
Communicate and work harmoniously and effectively with Principals, staff, students, parents, and community members.
Keep FSD informed of any changes in procedures, routine, or non-routine, as well as any communications that could impact any aspect of the program.
Keep communication open! Attend all Food Service meetings.

Be in compliance with local sanitation and safety standards.
Adhere to all State, federal and district policies.
Have working knowledge of all equipment in the kitchen.

Report anything that might be a hazard or need repair to the FSD Complete monthly inventory and keep other records up to date and accurate.
Evaluate meal applications that come into the building and forward to the FSD for verification.
Implement procedures of any new technology adopted by the Food Service Department.
Telephone communication including problem solving, routine calls, parent concerns, catering, etc.
Provide leadership, direction, training, staff moral and support for all employees and substitutes in your kitchen.
Maintain an atmosphere of teamwork, communication and positive approach to duties and staff.
Must have and maintain a new perfect attendance record and excellent office diplomacy.
Perform other tasks and assume such other responsibilities as the FSD assigns.
Demonstrates self-motivated work habits, the ability to multi-task daily and excellent organizational skills.
Physical stamina for work assignment.
This position requires bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and must have the ability to lift 50 lbs.
