We currently have opportunities available for Food Service Supervisor and, Kitchen Aid during the summer, fall, and winter seasons, along with openings for our upcoming 2024 Summer Camps!
Food Service Supervisor
Manage the daily operations of the camp food and dining service including coordinating activities between the kitchen and dining room
Oversee the planning and preparation of nutritionally balanced camp meals
Manage all administrative functions with regards to cooks and dietary aids including employee performance and trainings, interviewing, scheduling, processing time off, etc.
Able to cook food for large groups, using a variety of methods (roasting, grilling, frying, etc.
) and for individuals with special dietary needs (i.
e.
allergies, gluten free, diabetics, puree, etc.
).
Works in collaboration with other staff to make it a rewarding, safe, and positive camp experience for everyone.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
At least 18 years of age.
Maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that is acceptable and meets requirements of the agency’s insurance carrier and CMH contracts.
Past professional, educational, and/or volunteerism experience with youth or individuals with disabilities preferred.
