Experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Overview: The Villages of Lapeer Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team.
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payment collections.
Responsibilities: - Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data - Process and review medical billing claims for accuracy and completeness - Utilize accounting software to record and track financial transactions - Assist with accounting tasks - Manage the revenue cycle by monitoring outstanding accounts receivable balances - Handle medical collections by contacting patients or insurance companies for payment Experience: - Proven experience in accounts receivable or related field - Strong knowledge of account reconciliation processes - Familiarity with medical billing procedures and coding systems - Proficiency in using Point Click Care software and Microsoft Office Suite - Knowledge of revenue cycle management processes - Experience in medical collections is a plus We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including health insurance, and paid time off.
