Summary:
The Financial Analyst will be part of the Finance team and will collaborate with the Senior Financial Analyst on various projects and tasks.
Responsible for tracking and analyzing the financial health of our field projects, the Financial Analyst will prepare reports and make suggestions based on financial data.
The Financial Analyst will work closely with the Finance and Operations teams to improve the integration between our Project Management and Financial activities.
The descriptions below are representative of, but not limited to, the expectations of this role.
Five Key Roles of the Financial Analyst:
Creation & analysis of our monthly Job Progress Reports (JPRs)
Investigation of monthly changes to the Work-in-Process (WIP) Report
Reconciliation of job-cost activity, including credit card expenditures
Synchronization of all necessary financial data between Procore & Foundation, daily
Initiation & validation of all new projects in Procore & Foundation, as they are awarded
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with all departments & regions, proposing new tools to optimize performance & efficiency
Proficient understanding of our various systems (Foundation, Procore, Briq, etc), able to assist Operations
Administer Job Completion Reports (JCRs) & compile takeaways for future decision-making
Contribute to all Financial Review meetings, in preparation and deliberation
Update Financial Scorecards for our Finance & Leadership Teams, weekly
Occasional Ad Hoc projects & relevant tasks may be assigned
Education, Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, Associates required
Proficient in Microsoft Excel & strong aptitude to learn new systems/software
Creative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Travel:
Travel is not required for this position.
Work Environment:
As a Financial Analyst, you will be subject to a traditional office setting.
The employee must be comfortable with sitting for an extended period.
