Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
* Providing excellent direct care to residents and setting an example to your team .
* Ensuring the community is kept clean and is well maintained.
* Keeping resident’s files up to date both monthly and annually, to include health care appraisal and assessment plans done annually.
* Staff files are maintained to assure that licensing requirements are met.
* Being able to make executive decisions when needed, and being able to explain those decisions.
* Ensure the safety of all residents by being responsible for fire drills, water checks, and tornado drills.
* Ensure all resident medication is ordered from appropriate pharmacy.
Keeping in touch with the family that takes care of the resident meds as to when refills need to be ordered.
* Assure the shifts are staffed when staffing issues arise, and then report the changes to management.
* Reporting all concerns about resident’s general health care to management.
* Checking supplies on a regular basis to assure they are stocked.
Candidates should have prior management experience in a senior care facility and must have a reliable means of transportation.
All candidates will be required to pass a criminal background check as a condition of their employment.
